WHO CAN come to Absurd?

Anyone. You. Your friends. Your friends’ friends. ABSURD is for anyone interested in discovering what it means to live an absurd life for the Kingdom of God, leading and loving the Church and all its’ people.

Where is it?

ABSURD 2021 is held at The ONE Center for Leadership in Canton, OH

WILL THERE BE CHILDCARE AVAILABLE?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide childcare. We love your kids as much as you love your kids, but this is not a space best suited for their care, growth, or entertainment.

I WANT TO BE INVOLVED WITH absurd 2021. HOW CAN I SPONSOR OR ADVERTISE THIS EVENT?

GREAT! We want you to get involved!

CAN WE ORDER CONFERENCE MERCHANDISE BEFORE OR AFTER THE CONFERENCE?

No. Conference merchandise will only be available during the conference.

REGISTRATION

WHAT DOES THE REGISTRATION FEE COVER?

Your registration fee covers entry and participation in all sessions and breakouts. Transportation, lodging, and meals are not included (unless specified otherwise with your breakout session).

CAN A REGISTRATION BE CANCELED/REFUNDED OR TRANSFERRED?

All registrations are final. We appreciate your understanding.

DO I HAVE TO REGISTER NOW, OR CAN I DO IT AT THE DOOR?

Although there may be an opportunity to register at the door, we encourage you to register as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly for your experience. In the likely event that ABSURD 2021 sells out, we cannot guarantee availability at the door.

ARE THERE DAY OR SESSION PASSES AVAILABLE?

We recommend that you reserve your place now by registering in full for the conference. Friday “evening only” admissions may open closer to the conference if seating is available.

All other seating at ABSURD ‘21 is general admission.

I AM REGISTERING A GROUP WITH 4 OR MORE PEOPLE. DO I NEED TO INCLUDE EVERY NAME WHEN I REGISTER?

Yes. This enables everyone in your group to check in by name at separate times if needed.

HOW DO I REQUEST GROUP SEATING?

All seating at ABSURD 2021 is general admission. Come early to reserve your spot

TRAVEL

WHAT AIRPORTS ARE NEARBY?

Akron Canton Airport (CAK) is only two miles from the conference venue. Cleveland Hopkins Airport (CLE) is located 56 miles from the conference venue.

LODGING

ARE ANY AREA HOTELS OFFERING SPECIAL RATES?

No. At this point, there are no hotels offering discounted rates for ABSURD ‘21

FOOD

IS FOOD INCLUDED IN THE PRICE OF THE CONFERENCE?

No, but we will have a list of vendors and restaurants available at conference check-in. Our café will offer drinks and snacks for purchase throughout the day at ABSURD ‘21.

WILL THERE BE FOOD AVAILABLE ON-SITE AT CONFERENCE?

Yes. There will be food vendors on site to purchase lunches from. Our café will offer drinks and snacks for purchase throughout the day at ABSURD 2021
